BeijingBrand commercial — hero performances, controlled interiors, agency review on set

Beijing multi-day brand commercial (international agency + local production)

A multi-day tableaux-and-performance schedule paired a small fly-in creative team with a local Beijing unit. Turnarounds were tight: agency stakeholders needed confidence in exposure and skintone on wireless director monitors between setups, while grip and lighting had to scale from medium-wide master angles to tighter hero coverage without losing the day. Same-city logistics mattered as much as the camera package—kits moved between prep space and set with minimal idle time, and bilingual coordination kept call-sheet changes from turning into crossed handoffs.

ShanghaiExecutive interviews, workplace B-roll, and city exteriors for long-form corporate storytelling

Shanghai corporate documentary for a multinational's China operations

The production needed a consistent interview look across several Shanghai districts while protecting dialogue clarity in reflective corporate interiors. Field days alternated between sit-down interviews, walk-and-talk coverage in busy lobbies, and controlled B-roll in operational spaces where HVAC and foot traffic set the noise floor. The team prioritized a reliable audio chain, a stabilizer workflow that did not fight tight schedules, and lighting that could re-rig quickly when the next location was only a short drive away.

Hengdian (Dongyang, Zhejiang)Period drama location and stage-adjacent production with video village scale

Hengdian period drama — cinema package and on-set equipment support

Hengdian's production environment rewards crews who plan for volume: multiple entry gates, long walking distances between holding and set, and schedule pressure when background and costume departments are in heavy rotation. This scenario called for a cinema camera package suited to narrative coverage, Zeiss CP2–class primes for consistent rendering across scenes, HMI-scale lighting where base power and rigging rules allowed, and a monitoring stack that kept director, DP, and department heads aligned. Track and dolly support was budgeted for repeatable moves on key masters—not as decoration, but as a schedule tool.

Beijing and ShanghaiBrand campaign — mixed handheld, gimbal, portable lighting, and aerial B-roll

Multi-city brand campaign — Beijing and Shanghai cross-store logistics

A campaign spine ran back-to-back blocks in Beijing and Shanghai: talent moments in controlled interiors, fast exterior vignettes, and a modest aerial plan for establishing and transition shots. The producing team needed one rental partner who could cover both cities with coherent category recommendations, then handle cross-store returns so the production was not trapped shuttling cases on personal travel days. Portable lighting and a versatile zoom strategy kept the footprint airline-friendly where owner gear supplemented the rental, while DJI-class aerial support stayed in a clearly scoped safety and compliance lane.
