Multi-city brand campaign — Beijing and Shanghai cross-store logistics
- Client
- Global brand marketing team with China shoot blocks in two tier-one cities (generic scenario)
- Location
- Beijing and Shanghai
- Project Type
- Brand campaign — mixed handheld, gimbal, portable lighting, and aerial B-roll
Overview
A campaign spine ran back-to-back blocks in Beijing and Shanghai: talent moments in controlled interiors, fast exterior vignettes, and a modest aerial plan for establishing and transition shots. The producing team needed one rental partner who could cover both cities with coherent category recommendations, then handle cross-store returns so the production was not trapped shuttling cases on personal travel days. Portable lighting and a versatile zoom strategy kept the footprint airline-friendly where owner gear supplemented the rental, while DJI-class aerial support stayed in a clearly scoped safety and compliance lane.
Outcome
Logistics stayed flexible: Beijing's four-store grid and Shanghai's two-store coverage supported pickup and return windows that matched flight-driven producing, and cross-city handoffs were planned with one written chain of contact. The campaign avoided a brittle "single-city-only" rental strategy that would have forced expensive last-minute courier experiments.
